Here is Uwe Kiesewetter ,currently  at  the 4th place and  Bernhard Egger  3rd place.
They are both possible to stand on the podium.
Firstly  Uwe Kiesewetter . Performed very carefull hovering manoeuvres.
He received applause from the crowd during his performance, "loop and roll" .
But unfortunately  next manoeuvre "flip with harf roll" didn't go well and this led his score
hold down.

Nextly  Bernhard Egger . According to him,compare to engine helicopter, it is difficult to
get used to with because feeling of  hovering is different. But as far as looking at his
performance,he never look like he is having any difficulity but he is handling very well.
Though expected a high score,coldn't reach to Fabio Livi .

Depending on  Ennio Graber 's  score in the last group,the ranking of top pilots will be
changed.
Winning flight has started. Looking at his flight, he performed very stable than ever.
Flip rate was incredible and autorotation is successed. everyone expected a high score.
In the end,he earned the highest score at this competition.

New Team JR/Horizon member "Big D" Darrell Bell put on another annual
heli event in Detroit.  The field is nice with 3 flight lines. 
About 110 pilots attended including many well known heli pilots 
representing most heli brands.  

Event was 3 days of general flying and demos.  I did some setups for
people and allowed some pilots to fly my Vibe 90SG heli.  
This went well until during one flight with another pilot at the 
controls it boom struck and crashed!  Turns out it was older O-ring 
dampeners and this probably allowed too much blade movement.  
Damage was not too bad,and even though there was a crash, those who
tried it really liked how it flew!

I also flew Super Gracy with SY90 and flybarless Vibe 90SG.
Flybarless helis are becoming very popular, and there were many types 
at this event.

Most pilots had JR servos, JR or Spektrum radios, and about 50% nitro,
50% electric helis.  Seems most pilots like Nitro for bigger helis 
since it is less charging and batteries to carry around.  
Nitro was more popular for 90 size 3D helis.

A great event, relaxed atmosphere with good friends and pilots.

Here is a comment from Scott.

 I was able to fly to the event in Virgina, USA by my own small airplane rather than driving 11 hours! Team JR Bill Tinsley F3C pilot came with me in the airplane to the event. It took about 4 hours flight time, and we had to cross the US border and customs at Niagara Falls New York airport. We put 4 JR 90 size helis, 2 12X transmitters, tools, fuel, and clothes in the back and flew to small airport near the event. The little Piper Cherokee airplane was full and maximum weight!

Also attending the event was Markus Kim famous 3D pilot and Bill Jackson 3D pilot. The event was organized to be 4-day event with us four expert pilots helping student heli pilots to learn better setup and flying techniques. We also used JR buddy box to train with many helis and pilots.

In the end, I setup and tuned about 15-20 helis and flew all of them to check settings and test fly. Everyone seemed very happy to have good setups in their helicopters now and better tuned engines!

 Interestingly, there is increased popularity of F3C style flying lately... many pilots want to try FAI style flying.

We also did many demo flights throughout each day. I flew Vibe90SG flybarless, and SY90 F3C 2009 WC heli many times.

Attendance: approx 30 pilots     

Helis: 5 JR SY90, 5 Vibe 90SG, Vibe 50s, and other helis such as Align, Avant, Minicopter.     

Power: Most helis at this event were Nitro (70% nitro, 30% electric)                

Radios: 90% JR and Spektrum, 10% Futaba

The Trophy de France 2010 was held in the town of Maubeuge which was the venue for the European Championships in 2008.

18 pilots had registered for the contest.

The weather was quiet poor and mostly rain. But the competition was held.
Uwe managed to win 3 rounds. He did not have time to practise, because of final exams at the university but still he made it!  Now he will concentrated on flying till EC.
